Setu bandha sarvangasana
This is a bridge pose in which u have to lie on your back with knees bent and feet apart, palms flat. Deep inhale in this position and exhale when you lift your hips contracting your buttocks towards the ceiling. This asana helps to fight depression by improving blood circulation in our body soothing our mind and strengthening our back and core. It provides relaxation and reduces back pain as well.
This asana is called camel pose which is a little difficult pose but a very beneficial one. it stretches our deep hip muscles, improves posture, strengthens shoulder and chest muscles. This pose opens our whole body our lungs and heart as well. Our heart is connected with our emotional stability and stress so this pose helps us to fight depression by opening up our heart. In this asana, we will kneel sit on our yoga mat with both hands placed on the hips and feet facing the ceiling. Squeeze your internal thighs towards each other and slowly extend your elbows back and expand your pectoralis. Push down with your hands and lift your waist and start to backbend slowly( be extra careful while bending spine). Arch the spine more and place your hands on the feet. Look up to the ceiling and balance the pose.
It is raised hand pose in which you will stand with your hand folded in a namaste pattern and lift up the hands until it is fully stretched while looking at your thumb and hold the pose.
Adho Mukha Shvanasana
It improves blood circulation in the mind along with the body. In this asana take a crawl position on both palm and knees, with knees apart along with hands than inhale while arching your spine and release your breath while you round your back. Repeat for some breaths. Now curl your toes, extend the arms and slowly lift your knees from the ground. Than strengthen your spine fully extend the knees and arms with your head towards the ground. Hold the pose and repeat it.
This is the main asana when you want to meditate. It is a simple crossed leg posture with wrists resting on your knees. Index finger and thumb will be bent and touched other fingers will be extended. Close the eyes and maintain the posture.
It is a forward bend pose in which stand with hands on the side. Start bending your upper body towards thighs. Hold the pose for some time and return back to the starting position.
Lie on the back with legs crossed, arch your back upward tilt your head towards the ground. Hold for some time.
