If you sleep less than 7 hours a night, your production of the appetite-stimulating hormone ghrelin will increase. And it doesn’t end there: you will not only be hungry, but a real desire to eat unhealthy things like pizza, burgers, and chips. So if the goal is to lose weight, make sure you get enough sleep.
