What you prefer is highly personal. A channel-framed ring is often perceived as more “pure”, but unfortunately the diamonds are often slightly worse in place than the equivalent with chlorine. A channel-enclosed ring, regardless of whether it is in a half or quarter alliance, is also more difficult to adjust in size without disturbing the durability.
